The terms that apply when you buy, rent, or hire us for floor work.
These terms apply to purchases, rentals, and services from Aina Floor Scrubbers, a trading name of Aina Service LLC, a Michigan limited liability company located at 1260L Rankin Dr., Troy, MI 48083. By buying from us, renting from us, or hiring us, you agree to them.
Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "Aina" mean Aina Service LLC. Any contract you enter into is with Aina Service LLC.
All prices are shown in US dollars and are the price of the item itself.
Sales tax. Michigan sales tax is applied at the current state rate where required by law, and is calculated and shown before you pay. Tax is not included in the prices listed on product pages.
No hidden costs. There are no membership fees, subscriptions, or additional purchase requirements. The price you see plus applicable tax is what you pay.
Prices are subject to change. Sale prices are valid while the sale is running and while stock lasts. If a price is listed in error, we will tell you before taking payment and you are free to walk away.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase. We will tell you which payment methods we accept when you contact us to buy. Your order is confirmed once payment clears and we have confirmed the item is in stock.
We do not ship. Every purchase and rental is collected in person at our Troy location. There are no shipping charges because there is no shipping.
We will arrange a pickup time with you. Bring transport suitable for the machine. Ride-on machines are heavy and we will tell you what you need before you arrive. We are not able to deliver.
We work to keep specifications, prices, and availability accurate and matching across our site and any listings we publish. Specifications come from the manufacturer.
If an item shown as available turns out to be out of stock, we will tell you promptly and refund you in full if you have already paid. We will not take money for something we cannot hand you.
Photographs are of the actual machines we sell. Colors and small details can vary between production runs.
Rentals are booked through our rental request form. Rates shown on the site are estimates. We confirm final pricing, availability, and terms with you directly before anything is booked.
Rental machines are collected and returned at our Troy location during business hours.
A refundable deposit is required to hold your dates. It is a flat amount per machine, so you know the number before you book and it does not change with how long you rent for.
| Machine | Refundable deposit |
|---|---|
| S480 sweeper | $100 |
| C430BN, M380B, C460S, M510S | $250 |
| M510, RD560N, RD660 | $500 |
| XS90, FS20 | $1,500 |
The deposit does two jobs: it holds your dates, and it sits against any damage. Return the machine in the condition it left in and you get all of it back. It is not a fee and we are not trying to keep it.
The larger machines carry a larger deposit for one simple reason: the XS90 and the FS20 are roughly $20,000 machines and we own one of each.
From the moment you collect it until the moment you return it to Troy, the machine is your responsibility. That includes theft, loss, and damage, however it happens, whether or not it was your fault.
Please make sure whoever runs it has read the operator's manual. We will walk you through the machine at pickup, and we would rather spend ten minutes on that than have you find out the hard way.
You are not charged for the machine simply being used. Pads and brushes wearing down, squeegee blades dulling, batteries cycling, general use: that is our cost of doing business and it is built into the rate. We do not nickel and dime a returned rental.
If the machine comes back damaged, you are responsible for two things:
If the machine cannot be economically repaired, you are responsible for its replacement value, less its depreciation, which we will document for you.
Your deposit is applied against any of the above. If the repair costs less than the deposit, you get the difference back. If it costs more, we invoice the balance. Either way we show you the numbers.
Return the machine with both tanks drained and rinsed, as described in the manual. If it comes back with dirty solution still in it or debris in the recovery tank, we may charge a cleaning fee at actual labor cost.
If you keep the machine past your agreed return date without telling us, the rental rate continues at the standard daily rate until it is back. Call us if you need more time. We would rather extend your rental than chase you.
You remain fully responsible regardless of any other arrangement for damage caused by intentional misuse, by operating the machine on a surface it is not rated for, by ignoring the manual, by letting an untrained person run it, or by theft that is not reported to the police within 48 hours.
Check whether your business insurance covers equipment you rent. Many commercial general liability and inland marine policies do, and if yours does, this whole section becomes a formality. Your agent can tell you in one phone call.
We do not require you to show us a policy to rent a machine. We would rather you find out now than after something goes wrong.
Service quotes are given after we have seen the floor in person. A quote is a flat price for the work described in it. If the scope changes, we will requote before doing the extra work rather than adding it to your bill afterward.
These are commercial machines. Read the operator manual before use. Manuals are available on each product page and we will walk you through the machine at pickup if you want.
You are responsible for operating the machine safely and in line with the manufacturer's instructions, and for making sure whoever runs it is trained to. We are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, from ignoring the manual, or from use on a surface the machine is not suited to.
Machines are covered by a limited one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials from the date of purchase, under normal commercial use. The full warranty terms, including what is and is not covered and how to make a claim, are printed in the operator's manual for your machine. Manuals are available on every product page.
In short, it covers production and material defects. It does not cover damage from ignoring the manual, missed maintenance, misuse, accidents, unapproved repairs or parts, cosmetic wear, or freeze damage. Keep your receipt and your warranty card.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. After the warranty expires, repair services remain available for the applicable fees.
Our returns and refunds policy and privacy policy form part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies. The last updated date is shown at the top.
